My mission is to help adolescents, & adults cope better with stress,raise self-awareness, & ease anxiety & depression. Negative experiences can cause stress responses in the brain which can result in individuals becoming controlled by threatening & uncomfortable emotions & beliefs. Many symptoms are unconscious ways the mind devised of avoiding unwanted emotions. Using individual therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing, Internal Family Systems approaches & mindfulness practices, I provide an opportunity to cultivate more ease, connection & well-being. Possible results include: Skillful responses to difficult emotions/ Improved communication & relationships/ Increased self-awareness & self compassion/ Improved conflict resolution skills/ Improved relaxation, focus & concentration/ Increased empathy & understanding of others.
