Your story and current needs are important to your inherent ability to heal yourself and address your internal and external concerns. This is what I will listen for when you first arrive, and throughout treatment. Expect to be offered a cup of tea and a relaxed environment. I use an integrated approach, utilizing skills from various therapeutic disciplines to intuitively tailor it to your emotional well being. I believe in supporting core spiritual beliefs and strengths as well as offering coping skills and strategies to assist in increasing adaptive functioning. I enjoy working with a variety of ages and differing issues. I specialize in trauma related issues, grief, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, attachment, and relationships for at risk youth and adults, including refugees. An integrated strengths-based approach with skills in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Therapy, Couples Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and expressive arts.
