My therapeutic approach developed over 15 years is effective in the client who struggles with motivation, caught up in past events, choices, but who is tired of past failures, events, etc., and feels like they need suppport, hope, insight, skills, and/or a plan to move through, up and over. I specialize in improving motivation, skills, processing, and problem-solving, in creating a more self-reliant, confident and happier person. I have developed a set of skills that draw on the best of what I've found works for people. I focus on empowering people to solve their own problems by validating their feelings myself, and helping them to validate themselves. I have a special protocol to focus on issues common to "highly sensitive people." I have significant experience living abroad (lived in Europe, the Caribbean and Asia), studying many different languages/cultures, having an appreciation of differences, and yet learning the commonalities that allow all people to thrive. 15 years of experience helping has given me a confidence in people's ability to overcome.
