I have been in private practice 33 years. I feel that the most important thing I bring to the therapeutic relationship is wisdom obtained both through training and life experience.I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each of my clients individual needs and unique life situation to help them attain the personal growth they are striving for. My most extensive experience is with anxiety, depression, relationship issues and eating disorders. I do individual, family and couples therapy. I give a lot of feedback with the understanding that this is about your path, not mine so you have the ultimate decision about what is right for you. I have been trained in psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, solution focused therapy and use EMDR for trauma. I have a daily Vipassana meditation practice and therefore appreciate the usefulness of mindfulness. I am also a strong believer in the importance of spirituality. Through Alanon, I have become good at working with enabling and codependency. I have evening and weekend hours and am centrally located downtown.
