"Life is like the ocean, it can be calm or still, and rough or rigid, but in the end, it is always beautiful." Therapy is not only for individuals diagnosed with mental disorders. We all face everyday concerns that need extra support, an outside perspective, and guidance. Talking about your thoughts and feelings with a supportive person can help you get to the root of you problems, overcome emotional challenges and make positive changes in your life. My goal is to help my clients to replace unhealthy coping skills, encourage a healthy sense of self, and promote a lifestyle full of satisfying relationships & experiences. My clinical experience and areas of specialties are: Substance abuse population, including co-occuring disorders in residential settings and intensive outpatient settings. My treatment areas include: Autism Spectrum, Grief and Loss, Marriage and Family, relationship issues, crisis intervention, mood disorders, addiction, childhood abuse. I have extensive experience working with Native Americans, Seminole Tribe of Florida. My treatment approach is collaborative working with clients to discover the most helpful ways to discuss and solve their problems. I help clients rediscover their strengths, gain insight and achieve healthy lasting changes.
