My work involves counseling and consultation services to adults, children, adolescents and families. By establishing a comfortable, open and safe environment in which clients learn, grow and implement change, I focus on creating a therapeutic alliance and guide my clients to achieve their goals. My approach is client centered, non-judgmental and collaborative. I support youth, adults and families in transition. The main focus of my work is to assist individuals and families to understand and develop the skills they need to cope and thrive. Previous experience in the medical and community mental health setting is the basis for my continued work. I support youth, adults and families in transition, by fostering resilience, self-regulation and competency as well as working with individuals and families on the issues of care giving, aging and challenging health conditions. I am currently being supervised by Dr. Holly Counts, PsyD of Life Transformations, LLC as required by the State of Vermont.
