Life is ever changing. If we obtain the right tools in therapy we will be better equipped to handle these changes. To be successful in therapy is being ready to be vulnerable, challenged, and open to investigating not only what we think, but why we think as we do. We are products of our experiences. Exploring our perceptions are important, more importantly how we deliver, receive, and interpret information is key. If you are willing and able to discuss and process concerns will allow you the freedom to move forward in your journey of love, life, and healthy relationships. Therapy has a beginning, middle, and end. I believe getting to the core or foundation of why and where an issue come from is the beginning of mending it. We can compartmentalize issues or we can confront and deal with them upfront for a longer lasting effect. Trust is difficult and in order to really get what you desire out of therapy, you must trust and be open in sessions. Make sure who ever you choose to process your concerns with in therapy, you feel comfortable to be vulnerable enough to do it.
