Deciding to enter therapy is not an easy decision to make and takes courage. My extensive clinical experience working with adolescents, young adults, and families struggling with trauma or abuse, depression, anxiety, self-injury and family conflict will guide you through this trying time. I specialize in addressing the needs of LGBT individuals and families seeking to understand sexual orientation or gender identity. This can be a confusing time for all involved and it is important to address the emotional needs of both the person coming out and their parents/families. Working together, we will identify areas you would like to improve upon and create an individualized treatment plan. My therapeutic style is non-judgmental, nurturing and collaborative. My clinical practice offers a safe and supportive environment to foster self-acceptance allowing clients to celebrate their true, authentic selves. I use an eclectic blend of therapeutic approaches including; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, Family Systems, Narrative and Insight Oriented Psychotherapy. Currently, I am accepting new clients. My office is conveniently located in Perimeter Park off Southside Blvd. (near JTB and Tinseltown). I offer a free 30 minute phone consultation.
