My practice consists of 20 years in Portland and five years on the central Oregon coast. I have found that almost everyone will experience times in their life that are too big to handle on their own, times when outside, understanding neutral help is sought. These times can be traumatic Times that are about transitions, grief and loss The inevitable transitions we all experience can sometimes be challenging and/or painful. They can be starting a family, moving, a new job, infidelity, loss and grief. For couples there can be a loss of connection, which can also bring about feeling of loss and grief. Helping couples reestablish their connection is exciting to me. Working with them to create a safe haven to understand each other and help each other heal old wounds from long ago. There are particular methods I use to give my couples the tools they are lacking to revitalize their relationships. My clinical experience is supported by my life experience. Although my education and tools enable me to bring the necessary skills and training to my work, my extensive life experience enables me to bring empathy and understanding to those with whom I am most honored to work.
