I understand that entering therapy is a very difficult decision and one that you may have been thinking about for some time. My initial goal would be to make sure that working with me would be a good fit for you. I hope to provide you with a warm, kind, and genuine environment. My goal in therapy is to help move you through these difficult times, teach you the tools you need to cope with life's stressors, and assist you in becoming the healthiest person you can be, physically and emotionally. My specialties include eating disorders, relationship issues, and mood disorders. Within those categories fall depression, anxiety, poor self esteem, body image disturbance, and substance abuse. Utilizing an integration of complimentary approaches, I draw from a variety of methodologies and techniques to incorporate what is most helpful for each individual.
