I specialize in seeing older adolescents and young adults, particularly those making the transition to living independently or coping with the demands of college or graduate school.Some of the issues I treat include:Mood Disorders, Anxiety, Eating Disorders, Trauma related symptoms, and Adjustment to chronic medical illness.I collaborate with clients on individualized plans to help them increase their self-awareness, process their emotions, and learn new skills. I use insight-oriented, supportive, mindfulness-based, and cognitive behavior therapy approaches. I am a licensed clinical psychologist and completed my fellowship at Rhode Island Hospital, through the Brown Training Consortium. I have been licensed and worked with adolescents and young adults for over 15 years in a variety of settings, including Bradley Hospital, the VA Medical Center, and Rhode Island Hospital. I am currently an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Warren Alpert Brown School of Medicine.
