I work with children, teens and families on an individual and family basis. Areas of focus include family conflict, separation, divorce, step-family concerns and issues for children and teens related to separation and divorce. As a counselor I use a variety of techniques to increase coping skills, promote healthy communication and decrease conflicts. To decrease lost time at work and school I provide flexible office hours. I specialize in the difficulties that arise due to separation, divorce and blended families. Anxiety, depression, confusion and many other emotions can become overwhelming during times of change and transition and as a counselor I work with the children, teens and families to cope and change in the most appropriate way. As a counselor I have experience working with children, teens and adults who are suffering with anxiety, depression, confusion and at times lack of communication due to changes in the structure of the family.
