I am multilingual, multicultural, multi-professional and I have lived in several countries. This has given a broad perspective into people and their emotions. I started with psychoanalysis and finish as a pharmacologist allowing me to use a very eclectic approach to understand my patients. I am a strong believer in the biological nature of psychiatric disorders but i think that a thorough understanding of psychosocial factors is as important to find the right treatment but also to understand how the individual is going to respond. I added a legal and business education to broaden my horizons. I am a Psychiatrist and a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. I have a broad experience of treating a great variety of children. I specialized in Autistic Spectrum Disorder. I bring my developmental background to understand development throughout the whole life span. I have worked in academic, public and private sectors Being a lawyer has allow me to study the interaction between the psychiatric disorders and the legal system. Legal education has helped me to be a stronger advocate for my patients in the legal and educational systems. It has also help me to translate emotional problem to the Courts.
