Through psychotherapy, I help clients with eating disorders, anxiety, depression or in difficult relationships discover new possibilities. In a confidential, supportive professional therapeutic relationship, you can come to understand your patterns, recognize your strengths and wisdom and learn to be more effective at reaching your goals. I integrate strategies from cognitive/dialectical therapy with a relational, mindfulness-based approach. I am a licensed clinicial psychologist, an adjunct faculty member at the University of Cincinnati, member of APA, OPA, CAPP, National Register of Health Service Providers, numerous eating disorder organizations. I tailor treatment to suit each person's unique history, needs, strengths and goals. I am optimistic and pragmatic in the challenges/opportunities inherent in therapy. Collaborative in sessions, I listen, question, offer observations and and provide information to build skills. I am honored to join your quest for wellness, self-compassion and positive change. I offer 15 week psychotherapy groups for individuals with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and binge eating/compulsive eating disorders as well as groups for depression and anxiety. These groups are very helpful in intensifying treatment, supporting recovery, decreasing social isolation and harnessing positive energy and encouragement for wellness.
