Welcome! As a clinical health psychologist trained at Duke University Medical Center, Drexel University, and the Renfrew Center, I specialize in the treatment of weight management, eating disorders, insomnia, and anxiety. I also enjoy working with ethnic minorities in understanding how cultural factors impact psychological distress. Using evidence-based treatments in sessions, we will begin to understand where issues of control or avoidance of emotional distress may be creating mental health and/or physical ailments. My goal is to provide you with the tools you need to make long-lasting changes. I primarily use Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
