Life can be difficult and confusing. I am here to help you sort through the pain to find hope and healing for the days ahead. The hurt can be deep, going back to earliest memories or coming from present hardships. Counseling you is about establishing a safe place, a loving environment of grace. My tools come from my training and from nearly 20 years of experience, but each person is exquisitely unique, so no therapeutic relationship is the same as any other. It is an honor and privilege to share deeply in your life and the lives of your family. My specialty is relational healing. I believe that most issues in counseling can be traced to relational brokenness. We may have lost contact with ourselves, with others in our lives, or with God as we understand him. Healing comes in relationship. We decide together how to approach your needs. We may use deep healing methods, family counseling, art and drama therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, or insight-oriented psychotherapy. All of us are so complex and the counseling relationship must reflect that individuality within those fragile, beautiful bonds that thread us together.
