Most of my clients are in their teens and 20s, emerging into adulthood while trying to find their own way in a changing world. Many are experiencing uncertainty about their relationships, career choices and purpose in this life. I work with my clients from a psychodynamic perspective and help them to know and understand themselves better. By bringing into awareness the behaviors and past experiences that are now affecting their lives, my clients feel a greater sense of control over themselves and a clearer direction for their lives. Knowing oneself is a lifelong process, and I look forward to working with you for any length of time during your process. I will be alongside you to help you gain insight into your problems, make better decisions, have more fulfilling relationships and move forward in life as a more fully developed you. I also have experience working with adolescents and young adults living with HIV and other chronic illnesses, as well as those struggling to understand or be accepted for their sexual and gender identities.
