I provide an introspective, empathetic focus, aimed at understanding, removing emotional blocks and assisting the client to move towards ongoing growth. I assess my client's concerns, needs and goals, and often work closely with other professionals working with the client, so that collaborative treatment planning and treatment options can be optimized. In addition, I believe the relationship between the client and therapist is where the most significant healing occurs. The healing process becomes a process, incorporating mindful attentiveness to one's Self as well as the Self of others. The healing of the mind, body and spirit merges into a solid foundation of the integrated Self. My approach to therapy is relational, incorporating evidence-based therapies and treatments, as well as, eclectic approaches. Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR.com), psychodrama, imagery work, behavioral modifications, and insight-based psychotherapy are utilized to help facilitate the discovery of client's feelings and needs.
