The focus of my practice is working with adults and couples with issues relating to grief/loss, depression, anxiety, anger, and marital issues. I work full-time in private practice with a flexible schedule....seeing clients in the mornings, afternoons, evenings and on Saturday's. The most important part of counseling is to make sure, together, we can develop a healthy and respectful professional relationship. It is important for client's to develop personal awareness in order to make desired changes in their lives. Working in the field for the past 10 years, I have found that safety, privacy, and encouragement promotes change in people. I treat my clients with respect and dignity and without judgment. I draw upon different techniques that will suite you and your specific situation from a holistic perspective--mind, body, and spirit. Previously, I volunteered on the program committee for Good Grief of Northwest Ohio. Currently, I am a Board Member of Northwest Ohio HEALS. Both are non-profit organizations promoting grief support. I am passionate about the work I do and enjoy watching clients empower themselves to elicit change in their lives.
