I have been working in the field of mental health since 1987. I moved to VT in 2002 from CT where I had worked for 14 years as a therapist in state facilities for the Department of Children and Families, the Department of Mental Health and the Department of Corrections. I have treated people with all forms of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, ADHD ,eating disorders and employment issues. I believe that people can feel better emotionally and I work with them to be the best that they can be. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Aggression Replacement Therapy (ART),and Codependency Treatment. I have experience in treating patients with emotional eating problems. I am an Employee Assistance Program Therapist as well. I have also worked with couples and have facilitated family therapy sessions. The Newbury Family Counseling Center is a place you can come to for help with whatever you are dealing with.
