Life is full of stressors. When you need extra support, an outside perspective, or some expert guidance, talking to a skilled therapist can help effect truly positive change. It is my belief that a big part of the therapeutic process is having a trusting relationship between the client and therapist. I strive to partner with my clients on their journey to becoming their best selves. Working with people and helping them overcome obstacles and stressors in their lives is not just my occupation, it is for me, a calling. I have been working with adults, kids and families for over 13 years now I am fluent in Spanish and have done a lot of work with the Latino community. My specialties include behavior issues in children and adolescents, parenting support, managing anger, depression and dealing with losses. I have also had a lot of experience working with victims of domestic violence and children dealing with divorce. Specifically, my approach to therapy contains elements of Narrative Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Strengths-Based and Solution Focused therapies. I help clients identify goals and reach them through the therapeutic process. I have a special interest in children who are selectively mute and have had great success in working with them in the past.
