Nexus Child & Family Services offers professional and caring services to meet the needs of our children and their families. I've worked as therapist in a variety of settings over the past 17 years, I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) with the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists. I hold a master's degree in Applied Behavioral Sciences with concentration in Systems Counseling. My career has focused on facilitating change while providing quality services to individual's in need of assistance and the tools to achieve personal and societal effectiveness they seek in their lives. My work history reflects a diverse background in dealing with issues facing our children and their families. This includes mental illness, complex trauma, self injuring behaviors, suicidal thoughts, dissociation, and abandonment and attachment issues. I've worked in hospitals, non-profit social services programs, county mental health clinics, & private practice. As a therapist, my work draws from life experiences and formal training in family systems, solution focused, cognitive-behavioral, intergenerational, experiential, and psycho-educational therapy. My success as therapist and coach is due to my systemic training which influences the way I approach my work and the situations I encounter.
