Dr. Mantero-Atienza's Bio Dr. Mantero-Atienza is a Board Certified Psychiatrist with over 30 years of experience. He graduated with his Masters degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine and with his Doctorate in Clinical Bio-chemistry from the University of Sevilla School of Medicine in Spain. He has privileges in three different hospitals, has received 11 grants, has over 70 published abstracts, has had scientific articles referred in over 25 journals and has written several books. He has been in private practice since 1995 at the University of Miami Medical Center and he is currently the Medical Director at Miami Dade Community. For more information, please visit our website at https://www.Miami-Dade-Community.com Dr. Botta's Bio Dr. Botta is a licensed Psychologist who has 20+ years of experience in the field of mental health and has been serving adolescents, adults and families since 1992. He has completed internships at the Domestic Intervention Program in Miami and at the Miami Children's Hospital Psychiatric Adolescent Unit. He has worked with Juvenile offenders, D.U.I. Offenders, Misdemeanor Drug Offenders and sex offenders. Dr. Botta is a member of the American Psychological Association. His individualized and pro-active approach is used to help clients cope effectively with emotional, behavioral and stress-related problems. He creates a supportive environment where adolescents and adults can feel comfortable addressing life's challenges through a strength based, solution focused approach. Dr. Botta helps people of all ages and ethnic backgrounds develop self-awareness, self-confidence and see life from a different perspective in order for them to believe in themselves and make life altering changes. His methods involve understanding how the patient's past impacts their current level of functioning and then through this self-awareness, helps them make healthier decisions today in order to reach their full potential and live mentally, physically and spiritually healthier lives. Dr. Botta works with diverse populations with multi-cultural backgrounds.
