I help adults coping with challenges such as anxiety, depression, difficult relationships, and physical health issues. With warmth, optimism, and insight, I work with clients so they better understand themselves and can make positive, meaningful changes. As an independent consultant and later as a psychotherapist, I have 15 years of experience helping people deal with the practical and emotional aspects of chronic illness. My clients tell me our work together helped them achieve powerful and enduring change. You will have my compassion and support as we identify the basis of your distress, notice unhelpful patterns, and create a plan for a healthy, satisfying future. I believe many of our strengths have yet to be discovered or fully explored. My approach is interactive and tailored to each client. I use appropriate, evidence-based treatment models to address both acute and chronic issues. Working together, we will evaluate your strengths and find solutions that will bring you relief. Other areas of my practice include social anxiety, paruresis, OCD, panic disorder, phobias, sleep disturbance, trauma/PTSD, and grief.
