People seek counseling for a variety of reasons. Life can be difficult. Entering into therapy is an important decision, and finding the right therapist is essential to a successful experience. I believe that every person is deserving of compassion and respect, and is capable of living a rich and satisfying life. Each client is unique and together we will create an approach that works best for you. Central to this process is collaboration. I believe that we can do our best work when we come to a shared understanding of your specific challenges and find helpful ways to work on them. I work with a variety of issues including, but not limited to: trauma, anxiety, depression, family conflict, foster care, adoption, self-esteem, co-dependency, grief & loss, and child & adolescent issues. I have specialized training in the trauma treatment modalities of TF-CBT and Child Parent Psychotherapy. My office is in a small, private setting. Evenings and weekends appointments are available for those that need them.
