One of my greatest joys is being able to work with a child who is acting out behaviorally. As a former elementary school teacher and a play therapist, I know that when a child acts out they are crying for help. Play is the natural form of communication for children and It is through play that a child's healing occurs. In addition, to focusing on children I have found that I really enjoying working with the adult population by providing individual talk therapy. I focus on helping people with grief for any loss. I also focus on working with people who have constant worry in their life (anxiety), constant sadness (depression). I received my Specialist of Education Degree from the University of Mississippi and I am a Registered Play Therapist with the United States Association for Play Therapy. I am a former elementary school teacher and understand the stress teachers, students and parents face.
