Thank you for taking time to view my profile. My goal is to work alongside my clients to help them attain what is important to them. I tailor my treatment method to fit the personalities, styles, and desires of my clients. I work with clients 18 years and up. I am also familiar with geriatric issues and concerns. I accept a limited number of insurance clients. If you wish to use your insurance, you will need to call me to find out if I have space at this time. I work with a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, boundaries, relational issues, etc. My specialty is trauma and EMDR. Trauma creates beliefs and if based in a lie, chaos ensues. Dispelling the lie allows truth to surface which then allows the person to live more freely. I didn't come to counseling through a desire for academics. I came to it through familial dysfunction and childhood sexual abuse. I wouldn't wish my history on anyone, but I wouldn't trade it for anything as it has brought me to a place I never could have imagined.
