Michelle obtained her Bachelors degree in Psychology and Nutrition Science from the College of Saint Benedict/St. John's University in 2007. She obtained her Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in eating disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 2009. During her graduate career, she provided individual and group therapy at Water's Edge Counseling and Healing Center intensive outpatient facility. In addition, she co-facilitated adolescent and adult anger management groups, as well as a domestic violence group therapy program for men at Midwest Psychological Services. In 2009 Michelle served as a guest counseling instructor at the graduate level. Currently, Michelle facilitates Midwest Psychological Services' Therapeutic Weight Loss Group, is program manager of our Supervised Visitation & Safe Exchange Program, and has testified as an expert witness in court cases in St. Croix and Polk Counties. Michelle offers counseling services to children, adolescents, families, couples, and adults. Please see treatment orientation, modalities, and specialties below. Michelle's hours are generally flexible due to client needs. Her typical schedule is Monday through Friday 7am-4:30pm. Michelle resides in the St. Croix Valley area and is an active member of the St. Croix Valley Alliance Against Family Violence (SCVAAFV)
