I am a practical, interactive therapist. My specialties include children, couples, women's issues, emotional eating, and anxiety management. Sometimes the focus of therapy is to resolve current problems. Other times its focus is long standing behavioral patterns that aren't productive. I work with each client to help them build on their strengths and to identify and achieve life goals. I also help clients foster new skills and eliminate problem behaviors. Whether I am seeing a child, adult, or a couple, I will strive to make each session impactful. Together we can make a real difference in your life! Wanting to make peace with food? I have developed a program, Sound Bites, for both individual and group settings to end the dieting cycle and help you finally make peace with food. I am also a certified relationship educator (couples) and I utilize Play Therapy techniques when working with children. I believe that physical, mental, and relationship health all intertwine. If requested or wanted, I will closely collaborate with other health care professionals to help you achieve your goals. For children, this could also include their school teacher or daycare provider.
