My interest lies in helping adults of all ages work through and cope with the varied struggles, traumas, and transitions that occur in life. These include changes in health, both for the individual as well as family members, marital/family/relational concerns, conflict resolution, traumatic stress, new diagnosis, issues related to loss and grief. I have an extensive background in both medical and behavioral health. This background allows me to help people experiencing a wide variety of issues. Trained in several psychotherapeutic approaches, I tend to be eclectic, utilizing the approach that works best for the client. Cogntive Behavioral, Solution Focused, EMDR, and Psychodynamic are used most often. It is my belief that psychotherapy as a collaborative process where client and therapist work together.
