I became a counselor to help people solve everyday problems, overcome obstacles, and heal wounds that they have suffered in their lives. It is my belief that each person has the answer to his/her problems inside and sometimes just needs encouragement, support or guidance in finding those answers. I am committed to creating a nonjudgmental, supportive environment for my clients to discuss any issue. My aim is to empower my clients with tools and skills to help resolve life's challenges and to help them cultivate the life that they desire. My approach is based in cognitive-behavioral psychology which means that together, we will examine the interactions between your thoughts, feelings and behaviors to help bring about the changes that you desire. I love to laugh, so I use humor as well. Therapy doesn't have to feel like work! I believe that God has allowed me to experience hardships not only to help me become my best self, but also to help others through their struggles - whatever those struggles might be.
