Carlin, MSW, LCSW, Founder/Director of Clinical Services: Chris has over 25 years working with adolescents and their families. He has spent the last 10 years working specifically with adolescents and young adults with Non-Verbal Learning Disabilities and Asperger's. He also has over 15 years of group facilitation experience. He is EMDR trained and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) trained through the Rosenzwieg Center for Rapid Recovery. Cynthia Nicastro, Associate: Cynthia has over 34 years of experience and focusing on working with those individuals who struggle with Mental Health issues and Addictions. Her goal is to continue to assist adults interested in being clean and sober, or assist individuals who may be experiencing a life crisis either from a life change situation or from depression and/or anxiety. Her past experience included treating Mental Health patients on inpatient psychiatric and detoxification units, Outpatient Day Treatment Programs with dual diagnoses, and Evening Treatment Programs for the recovery from drugs and alcohol. Cynthia also was Executive Director of a Half-Way House where individuals were re-integrated into the community. Cynthia has the uncanny ability to identify and meet specific and unique needs of individuals looking for treatment. Our Professionals Continued: Gwendolyn Watford, MSW: Associate: Gwendolyn Watford has worked in the field of human/social services since 1987, holding undergraduate degrees in Human/Social Services and Law Enforcement and a MSW from Springfield College. She has been providing services for populations including the elderly, children and youth, the disabled, incarcerated adults and youth, parents of children with disabilities and individuals with mental health needs. She has assisted in facilitation of teams including mediation, negotiation, and advocacy. Stephanie O'Sullivan is a Licensed Hypnotherapist and Pre-Licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor Graduating from Union Institute and University out of Brattleboro Vermont, who works best with clients who are insight oriented and are willing to communicate in an open and honest manner. Clients interested in a more holistic approach and able to use this modality are encouraged to reach out and attempt this type of therapy. Melissa Febbroriello, MSW: Associate: Melissa received her MSW at the University of Connecticut. She focused on therapies related to women and children in families. She currently works as a Connecticut certified school social worker interacting with almost 500 children, teachers, families, and the community.
