"Everyone experiences pain, but suffering is optional." If you find yourself suffering from the pains of life, counseling can help you. I see counseling as a journey where we work together to reach your goals. These goals may include healing of emotional and relational wounds, overcoming unhealthy life habits, learning to cope with difficulties you face, or growing in your understanding of and relationship with God or with others (to name a few). I believe counseling is a partnership, and you will find me to be a compassionate partner on your journey towards healing and wholeness. I have experience working with clients ages seven through their 70s, and have helped clients address issues such as depression, anxiety, marriage difficulties, parenting, grief, PTSD, trauma, attachment wounds, spiritual issues, etc. I am especially passionate about helping marriages to be healthy as a foundation for a healthy family environment. As a Christian, I hold to a biblical worldview, and this informs the techniques I use in therapy. I will integrate faith within therapy to the extent desired by the client.
