Hello and welcome! I am Dr. Maria Silva. I am currently taking adult, child, and adolescent clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship, and anger issues. I offer therapy services to clients who are experiencing marital, couple and/or parenting difficulties. I provide family therapy and focus on the dynamics of each relationship in order to improve the family unit as a whole. Therapy is a process of self inspection. It is a safe place where change and improvement can take place. I am here to provide encouragement, expertise, and new ways of coping with life changes and difficulties. I work with parents undergoing divorce, separation, and bereavement. I focus on reducing the impact of this new life change on their children via psychoeducation/parenting techniques. I also work with individuals suffering from anxiety and depression. Focus of treatment is on relieving symptoms and reducing impact on daily life. I have significant experience working and diagnosing children with developmental delays and mental illness. I've worked together with parents in providing the best atmosphere to promote their child's strengths. Therapy services in Spanish are available.
