I provide individual, couple, family and group counseling. The focus of my practice is to help clients realize their goals for a satisfying and productive life, working collaboratively with them in the process. Ideally, clients who decide to work with me are motivated to seek change in their lives and are committed to the "process" of therapy. Therapy provides a mutual deepening of one's knowledge of Self and Other in the context of relationship. I strive to provide a safe, nurturing yet challenging space for clients to grow personally at the pace of their choosing. Continuing my own professional growth is an integral part of providing the highest standards of practice for my clients. I have had intensive training in Gestalt therapy, EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) a proven model for helping couples reduce negative patterns of communication, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desentization Reprocessing treatment for trauma).
