I believe that children's symptoms, which are different than adults, are seen in their troublesome behaviors and inability to control emotions. Children are limited in language, resources and the ability to cope, which requires a unique treatment approach. Since a child's natural language is play, rather than talk, I use a holistic child centered approach concentrates on both non-verbal and verbal that incorporates play, creative art, talk, and EMDR therapy to assist in a successful healing process. .I have over 10 years of experience in treating children and families coping with negative life experiences, depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, chronic stress, and relationship challenges. She is passionate about social justice, equality for all souls, and a fierce advocate for children and families. I am a Board Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor and National Certified Counselor. I am a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor and EMDR Certified Therapy. My training and continuous research provides you the best opportunity for recovery and success. .
