As a "treating" psychologist I am a child and family therapist with extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and their parents, in individual, couples, and family therapy settings whether the problems are behavioral or emotional. And, I have extensive training and experience working high-conflict families both pre- and post- divorce. Therapy doesn't need to be "long term" - however it should be problem and solution focused. Resolving conflict, changing unwanted behaviors, understanding emotions, in a supportive confidential setting, provides an opportunity for emotional growth leading to improved personal relationships and a more confident approach to life's challenges. As an "expert witness" psychologist I work with attorneys and their client families in the family and civil courts as an independent evaluator, and or guardian ad litem, and or parenting coordinator, whether in "divorce court" or as an evaluator of emotional damages claims in civil court. For busy professionals, busy families, and family court evaluations, Saturday and Sunday appointments between 12 noon and five p.m. are available.
