I have had several years of experience treating children, adolescents, and families and a continued commitment to finding solutions for my clients. Talk therapy is a very important part of the process. However, I believe that real work between client and therapist is necessary in order to generate real solutions! I use cognitive behavioral therapy in order to challenge and change thoughts, behaviors, and negative perspectives of my clients. This type of therapy has proven to be successful both in current research and my actual experience. I specialize in child and adolescent issues and disorders including but not limited to depression, adjustment issues, anxiety, social skills training, eating disorders, divorce, and addiction. In addition to individual and family therapy, I hold need based child and adolescent groups. The cost for group sessions is $30.00 per 1 1/2 hour session.
