As a therapist my ideal client is one who is receptive to working together as a team. The client does not have to love or like therapy but should in some small way be focused on wanting to get some relief for the issue. The ideal client also is one who can be honest during the sessions and understand that therapy can be successful if time and work is put into it. My specialty is depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder and eating disorders. I use a number of evidenced based models including cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and trauma focused therapy during sessions to assist clients. My experience include having vast experience working with diverse populations.
