My clinical interests include working with children birth to 21 and their families with Autism Spectrum disorders, as well as other developmental, learning and emotional/ behavior disorders. My specialties include diagnostic, psychological, and psychoeducational assessment as well as behavior modification and parent training for children with autism and other behavioral/emotional disorders. When working with young children and their families I implement a behavioral approach within the natural environment. However, when working with adolescents, I tend to lean toward a more psychodynamic approach, implementing cognitive-behavioral techniques when appropriate. I am an active volunteer for Autism Speaks of Georgia, I am currently the Family Services Co-Chair for Autism Speaks, and have been on the planning committee for the Georgia Autism Walk since 2007. In addition, I am on the Board of Advisors for the Dare to Hope Foundation.
