I have 14 years of experience working with youth and families in Ravalli County. I have spent the last three years working extensively with grief, bereavement, and end of life issues. I also work with adults and couples. Life brings unforeseen challenges and despite our independent spirits in Montana, there are situations and events that can be overwhelming that we don't feel equipped to manage effectively. I am open and nonjudgmental and enjoy assisting people to discover the tools they already possess and to develop new insight and knowledge to navigate life's challenges. I don't adhere to one model of practice but rather choose elements from many modalities to best meet my clients needs and styles. I believe therapy should be goal oriented and setting reasonable objectives together to reach your goals is my standard of practice. I believe in a strengths based approach - we identify what is working well for you and build on that. Combining insight into our past and how that affects our current choices and beliefs is helpful to create positive change and develop new ways to cope with challenge.
