Have you ever been concerned about your child's schoolwork, feelings, behaviors, ability to make friends, or general development? I am a licensed psychologist and nationally certified school psychologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of children and adolescents ages 2-19 with learning disabilities and dyslexia, autism/asperger's disorder, developmental disabilities, anxiety disorders, and ADHD. Diagnoses are based on comprehensive evaluations. The purpose of an evaluation is to help you better understand your child's individual strengths and weaknesses and to provide school (e.g., IEP, 504) and home-based recommendations tailored to your child's unique needs. I also conduct evaluations for gifted and twice-exceptional children and adolescents. These evaluations are used to identify your child's strengths and needs as well as eligibility for school-based gifted programs and services.
