My belief is that people who come to therapy need a therapist who strives to understand their experience. As people come to feel understood and safe in therapy, they can then work through the difficult issues that impede their growth. My approach is to help clients process life related difficulties, explore what influenced them to become the person they are today, and discover what might be blocking the attainment of a more satisfying life. Clients can expect a safe, collaborative experience that focuses on growth and building personal strengths so that they feel empowered to make changes in their lives. I enjoy working with clients in psychotherapy who have difficulties related to: Depression, Anxiety, Relationship Conflict/Relational Concerns, Difficulties Controlling/Expressing Emotions, Grief/Loss, Adjustment & Phase of Life Issues, Trauma & Abuse. I provide psychological testing to assess issues such as: ADHD, Autism, Learning Disorders, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, & Personality Disorders I provide both psychotherapy and psychological assessment to clients seeking services. I have worked with clients over the life span and enjoy working with young adult and adolescent clients.
