I've been working in the field of addiction treatment for over 10 years and, as a result, I've adopted a style of therapy that is both direct and empowering and supportive. My experience allows for me to be flexible in my treatment approach, ensuring that I am providing counseling services that are individualized to meet your needs. My other therapy strengths are in treating anxiety and trauma related issues. I've worked with adolescents, young adults, and adults in individual, family and group settings. I've gained professional experience in nearly every level of care: detox/inpatient, residential, and outpatient treatment. I also have vast experience in providing treatment and counseling services for those involved with the legal system. Additionally, I am trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) therapy and have the ability to incorporate these techniques into our sessions, regardless of the specific issue you are working to resolve. ***PLEASE NOTE: I will see children on a case-by-case basis, but ONLY for EMDR therapy.
