Neuropsychology involves the assessment of brain functions such as memory, attention, concentration, judgment, reasoning, problem solving, motor and sensory functions and psychological variables that affect functioning. Neuropsychological and Psychological Evaluations are provided for doctors, hospitals, disability, attorneys and individuals. Evaluations can identify learning disabilities, ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Autism Spectrum Disorders or other Developmental Disorders. They can also diagnose dementia and subtle cognitive deficits in strokes, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's, Lyme Disease, Traumatic Brain injury, Neurosurgery as well as many other disorders. The evaluations can detect deficits that are not obvious on MRI's but are impacting a person's functioning. If you see changes in thinking, personality or behavior and are concerned about yourself or a family member an evaluation could give you peace of mind. The process is painless and most individuals find it pleasant. The evaluation can be scheduled in one day or over several days. I have experience working with doctors, probation officers, judges, lawyers, case managers and others. A follow-up phone is always done to assure that the report met the needs of the person or agency referring. I encourage you to call for a consultation today to determine if my services are right for you.
