I've been there. I know what it's like to feel stuck and actually change, and I use this experience to help you close the gap between where you are and where you want to be. I understand an effective therapist cannot take anyone down a road they have not themselves travelled. In order to live fully one must continually develop and grow in mind, body, and spirit, and I integrate this philosophy with my therapy practices. I appreciate the uniqueness of every person's story, and at the same time I provide the comfort that you are not alone in your experience. Partnering with you to determine your needs and goals, I utilize a variety of methods to address them, including techniques that are both emotionally and cognitively based. Having an innate gift to be present with people, I provide a safe environment conducive to growth and change. Passionate about assisting clients in finding their voice, I have a heart for working with clients who struggle with toxic shame, loss, and issues arising from trauma. My experience includes working with clients in a wide range of life stages, treating issues such as depression, anger, anxiety, relational conflict, sexual identity, and trauma.
