I believe that everyone is born with a purpose. When we experience feelings of depression and anxiety, it sends a message that our current and ongoing life experiences make us feel helpless and hopeless. At Nyoka Place, I allow you to view yourself, as if in a mirror and then begin the process of changing that picture to one that makes you feel positive and powerful. Together ....we can make the change. I work with adults and children....to empower adults to 'make a change' and help children to find their best self and have a happy childhood. I have had specific training and experience working with children who are adopted and who struggle with finding their place in a new family. I am also a certified hypnotherapist and address issues of depression, anxiety and trauma. All therapeutic interventions are specifically designed to effect change in the short term.
