I am a licensed clinical psychologist with experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families I use a variety of techniques to help clients discover positive ways of coping and responding to the difficulties they face. I value the psychologist-client relationship and strive to establish a connection with each client based on empathy and understanding of each individual's needs. I assist clients in developing ways to cope with life stressors and establish/maintain personal relationships. In the therapeutic process, I focus on an individual's strengths and encourage clients to use strengths to enhance their lives and attain their goals. Specialization in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, adults, and families that experience a variety of issues including ADHD, depression, mood disorders, anxiety, executive functioning deficits, school related issues, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, sibling and peer interactions, parenting issues, self esteem issues, relationship issues, attachment issues, and emotional stress due to life stressors. I effectively emphasize an integrative therapeutic approach including cognitive-behavioral, client-centered, solution-focused, family systems, and art therapy. I believe that therapy can help bring change, personal growth, and moving forward in life. I have also been trained in psychoeducational and psychological evaluations. Educational consultation is also an area of interest.
