I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a private practice in the East Cobb area of Marietta. I have 20 years of experience as a counselor and have been in private practice for 11 years. I see adults for individual and marital/couples therapy and specialize in helping people with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety/panic, trauma, marital and relationship problems, ADD/ADHD, and life transitions. I will work with you by blending traditional therapy methods with mind/body techniques to help you achieve change in your life. The traditional therapy methods such as cognitive/behavioral and psychodynamic approaches focus on changing your negative thinking and behavior patterns and addressing longstanding emotional conflicts. The mind/body techniques help you with stress reduction, emotional management and changing limiting beliefs. My goal is to create an environment where you will feel comfortable exploring emotions and issues. We will change your limiting beliefs and you will feel confident that you are learning positive and effective coping strategies that will serve you well throughout your life.
