I work with adult and adolescents on an individual basis as well as couples collaboratively on identified goals, using a variety of therapeutic techniques. These include EMDR (Level II), EFT, TFT, CBT, Internal Family Systems and other Ego State Therapies, and other traditional therapies. I specialize in the treatment of PTSD and related disorders. I work with trauma survivors using primarily non-verbal therapies in order to minimize re-traumatization. I have been trained in EMDR since 2003 and use it for a variety of issues, from building coping skills, to resolving grief, treating addictions, relieving depression, and resolving anxiety. I have been trained in Clinical Supervision, have been listed as a Guardian ad Litem in the past, and am working towards Certification as a CCS (Certified Clinical Supervisor) and as an LADC (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor). I have been working in the field of Mental Health since 1997. I am constantly seeking novel ways to collaborate in treatment with my clients, and plan to continue in my education to expand my treatment "toolbox". I see every client as a unique individual and taylor treatment plans to each person's unique preferences and needs.
